HOWL-o-ween!!!

Happy Halloween!

As I may have mentioned, this is my Favorite time of year! And we had a lot of fun celebrating with friends and family...

We started by remembering the spirits of all those we love who are no longer in this world...

Which included a Werewolves of London tribute to Grandpa John.

Then we gathered all the sweet, costumed kiddies together for Trick-Or-Treat around our neighborhood.

It was Super-Cute.

John still needed a little help figuring out just what to do, but he was sure to say 'Please' and 'Thank You' even if he couldn't quite work out 'Trick-Or-Treat' at each house.

Hope you are having as much fun as we are this Fall!

We went to England!!!

And I totally forgot to show you! Here are some highlights from our recent trip to the Motherland...

Cooler Weather? New Jammies and Boots!

THANK YOU GRANDMA AND NAN!!!!

It is FALL!!!

We LOVE Fall!!! Well, at least I do. All kinds of great things happen in the Fall! Our wedding, Adam and John's Birthdays, Halloween, PUMPKINS!, Fall festivals, Cooler weather, sweaters (or Jumpers for you folks in the UK), Changing leaves, Crock-Pot meals, Football, Cider, Footed, jammies, Oktoberfest, Autumnal Brews. Man the list just goes on and on. It is my favorite time of year. It always reminds me of Grandpa John, too because he LOVED Halloween. He always really got into it. He would have rather carved a Pumpkin than put up a Christmas Tree anyday!!! So stay tuned as I try to get lots of photos up of our fun activites this Fall....

Here are a few to start us off:

at a local corn maze....(we totally got rained on!)

A Brief Encounter

So there was Cowboy John, just minding his own business at the Pear Tree Saloon.....

But as his back was turned, in walked the prettiest Pirate ANYONE had ever seen...

He was anxious to make her acquaintance, but she was not sure about this stranger from the West...

She said "ARRRRRRRGH, I'm a pirate and we're not the friendly sort, see!"

Always a gentleman, Cowboy John, simply tipped his hat and said he meant no harm to this lovely Siren of the Sea....

The Maiden De La Mer was immediately disarmed, and the tides quickly changed in Cowboy John's favor....

John was pretty darn tootin' happy with the way things were shaping up, but the Pretty Pirate knew she would be sailing on and that their romance would end as quickly as it began....
Cowboy John couldn't bear to watch his Salty Sea Princess leave...
And it was she, who sailed off into the sunset, leaving heartache in her wake.....
