Little John had another outing today to go and visit his doctor, and the good news is that he has broken the 5lb mark! Weighing in at 5lbs 2oz, Little John has basically gained a pound in just 2 weeks, which is pretty good going! Everything else seems to be looking great too, so hopefully he'll be big enough to help me finish putting up his shelves by next week!
His parents are also doing well...if a little exhausted. Having a child is definitely a test of endurance, but I wouldn't change it for anything in the world. C'mon, look at the cute little fella! :)
We would like to give a big thank you to our parents who helped us transistion into life at home with little John. We appreciate all he food, fun and festivities and the little man can't wait to see you all again soon!
He has definitely developed a good set of lungs and his screams can be heard several blocks away...but we're not complaining. That's a good thing. Nevertheless, I am still learning how to decifer each of his screams, which usually only mean one of three things: "I've just pooed myself", "Is anyone else hungry cos I am STARVING?!" or "Why is Daddy so weird?".

HE'S SO CUTE!!! He's gonna be a good lookin' kid just like his parents. Happy to hear he's gaining weight so quickly. What a strong, handsome little guy!

John is adorable! I was amazed by how strong he was in the hospital, but can tell he's much stronger now and so alert. He looks a lot like Pete-wonder if he'll be as active as his uncle was.
I thought about you all during the holidays, but stayed away due to strep throat. It was great to see how you all were doing on your blog.
