Spring is in the Air!

Last weekend was a beautiful one in Asheville! The temps were in the 70's and the sun was shining all weekend long. We took John for his first ride around the block in his stroller and we had a little barbeque with our buddies the Aldays, including their little muffin Mary Adelyn. The little man also got to wear his first Polo onesie given to him by his Uncle Wiley. Here are some pics...

I discovered that the little man is now fitting into some of his clothes sized for babies of the age of 3 months. So that's pretty cool. Here are some additional pics of his new and outgoing wardrobe...

9lbs 7oz!

Man does this kid get bigger everyday! My biceps will be bulging in no time!

We went to the developmental doctor yesterday to make sure little John is on track with all his growing, skills and movements. The report is that he is doing great and even better than what is expected for his gestational age! We are super proud of him! And of course, he weighed in at a chunky 9lbs and 7.5 oz. Here are some pics of our twelve weeker!

Our 9 Pound Muffin

It is so amazing to watch the little man grow! At our last DR appointment he was tipping the scales at 8lbs 9oz. SO with his tremendous rate of weight gain, I estimate him to be about 9lbs today! We see more personality each day and he even sleeps for four hours at night! What a treat for mom!

Well now that he is a "real baby" size we can also utilize the benefits of tools such as the Baby Bjorn and his swing. He is loving it and so are we!

In this batch we have pics in a Christmas outfit that finally fits, fun with bath time and a couple others. Hope you enjoy - we certainly are!
